Trading and cooperation department of Žito group is closely connected with Žito subcontractors; here is production of arable crops with farms contracted as well as trade of grains and oilseeds. Subcontractors and farms that are not in the joint production system, in addition to raw materials for agricultural production: seeds, fertilizers and plant protection products, have at their disposal counseling services and the purchase of market surpluses. Purchased grains and oilseeds are stored in silo facilities of the Group, and trading department is selling them on the Croatian and European market.

The agricultural cooperative offers agricultural holdings a wide range of raw materials, and at the purchase runways, cooperatives can hand over their crops. Cooperatives and retailers are strategically positioned near the cooperatives and their countries to reduce manipulative costs.
