Oil factory Čepin d.d. is the largest Croatian processor of oilseeds. The main activity of the company is production of crude and refined oils from sunflower seed and rapeseed. Animal feed factory Vitalka is one of the most sophisticated animal feed factories in the region. The production process is fully automated and computer controlled. Great importance is given to the control of raw materials and finished products as well as traceability. Raw material production basis are crops grown on surfaces of Žito Group. The annual production is more than 100,000 tons of feed for pigs, cattle, poultry, game and fish.

Connected with silo in Đakovo, plant annually processes about 10,000 tons of seed. Whether processed in service for renowned producers or as seed produced on own cropland under the brand Žito, the process is the same; at the end of the production process comes processed, treated and packed seed. Seed Žito is monitored under watchful eye of the technologists through the entire production process, and it is particularly been taking care of that it is not genetically modified.
