Cattle production in the Žito Group consists of milk production and beef fattening. Meeting the strict requirements for milk and meat quality is achieved through high-quality genetics, feed prepared on the farm and produced in the Vitalka factory, and the expertise of employees. Currently, 5,000 beef cattle are raised in the beef cattle sector, while 2,100 dairy cows are raised in the dairy cattle sector, with an annual production of 21,000,000 liters of milk. By-products from the farms are used on the Group's arable land or in a biogas plant, which contributes to environmental protection.


Orlovnjak
Dairy farm Orlovnjak is located near Osijek, next to the suburban area Antunovac. Farm houses 780 dairy cows of Holstein Friesian breed. The farm has closed production cycle, having at the same location breeding of their own calves' offspring, pregnant heifers to dairy cows.

Mala Branjevina
Dairy farm Mala Branjevina is located next to Vuka, near Osijek. The farm was completely renovated and modernized in 2008, and houses 770 dairy cows. Quality Holstein type genetics, balanced nutrition and animal care, as well as knowledge of employees, guarantees the production of quality milk.

Krndija
The Krndija dairy farm is located near the village of Punitovci. The farm has 550 dairy cows of the Holstein Friezian breed. The farm has a complete production cycle and at the same location.

Ankin dvor
Farm Ankin Dvor is located next to Čepin and farming unit Ovčara. The farm is intended for beef fattening with capacity of 1,300 animals.

Klisa
Beef cattle farm Klisa is located east of Osijek and has Simmental beef cattle type. The farm has a capacity of 2,200 units of beef cattle. Farm employees prepare part of the required feed themselves out of raw materials from nearby arable units, and other part are complementary and complete feed produced in the animal feed factory Vitalka.

Budimci
Vitulus fattening cattle farm is located in Budimci, and production takes place within the Budimci arable land. The capacity of the farm is 1,060 fattening cattles.

Berak
Berak fattening cattle farm is located near Semeljci, near Đakovo. The farm has a capacity of 1050 fattening cattles. Food for the needs of fatteners is produced on its own surface

Gorjani
The Gorjani beef cattle farm is located in the exact location and has a capacity of 210 heads of beef cattle.

"Milk from Croatian Farms" is a symbol in the optional labeling system implemented by the Croatian Agency for Agriculture and Food with the aim of clearly and unambiguously informing consumers about the origin and established quality of milk and dairy products produced on farms in the Republic of Croatia.
