The Oil factory Čepin, in cooperation with the KTC retail chain, is participating in a humanitarian action for the Krijesnica Association. By purchasing Tena sunflower oil in KTC supermarkets, in the period from 15.10. to 14.11. In 2020, you will support this humanitarian action as part of which the Čepin Oil Factory and KTC donate HRK 30,000.00. The Krijesnica Association provides assistance to children and families facing malignant diseases, and in the last 19 years it has helped more than 1,500 families.
The purchase of Tena sunflower oil is also a support to Croatian production and the 78-year tradition of oil production in Čepin. The Čepin oil factory is the largest Croatian processor and producer of crude and refined oils with an annual processing capacity of 150,000 tons of oilseeds coming from Slavonian fields and a production of 32 million liters of refined oils per year.
Social responsibility has always been of great importance to the Žito Group, within which the Oil factory Čepin is located. Thus, in 2019, according to the 'Zlatna košarica' selection, the Žito group was named the socially responsible company of the year.
